Canada?s federal housing agency has quietly made more changes to its upper ranks.
The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. confirmed that Marc McInnis, the Crown corporation?s vice-president of insurance underwriting, servicing and policy, left this month. No reason was given.
CMHC has already announced that veteran Wall Street banker Robert P. Kelly has been brought in as chairman. It is also expected to soon announce a replacement for chief executive Karen Kinsley, who said this month she plans to step down.
Speculation has been rife that agency could be set for more dramatic changes since it is now under the auspices of the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions. Jim Flaherty, the finance minister, has also discussed privatizing parts of the agency.
